Realised that both threads has been locked and wanted to leave a comment regarding rebates and my experience of Air Liquide, just to give some balance. Realised it would get lost, so am adding it here.

Wanted to say that, in my experience, the rebate has always been paid in arrears. I now phone in my reading and then a 2/3 months later get the rebate. Perhaps you could ask to do this, although it will not speed up the rebate. Would add that it is not as if the rebates cover the electricity bill - my rebates are around £50 against 1/4ly bills of £400 (I live in an all electric house)

As for servicing the concentrator, thought that was only every 6 months or a year.

I am with Air Liquide and have been for a few years now; am very happy with them; I have no complaints whatsoever about their service. Have had home oxygen from them, holiday oxygen from them, emergency call out late one night (around 12.30 a.m.) when concentrator broke down (the chap came out with a replacement as it was quicker than trying to find out what the problem was), supplies sent via the post without delay. Realised that I was almost out of cannulas on Friday morning and I like the straight nosed sort; phoned up and ordered some, they arrived by post this morning.

So not all bad.

Hi Blodwyn - same here! Always had excellent service from Air Liquide - punctual, polite and helpful. Servicing for my concentrator is six monthly too - thought that was the norm. I would be really upset if we lost Air Liquide down here - can't fault them.
