Hello everyone. I’ve been coughing up blood for two days now. Went to A&E and had blood work and X-ray done. All clear. They told me to contact my Gp if my symptoms persist. Any thoughts please. The nurse in admissions told me that bronchiectasis can cause symptoms that are similar to mine.

I had this happen earlier this year and turned out to be due to an infection cleared after a couple of weeks on the right antibiotic, Scary to see it happen though but try not to worry. A sputum sample may be needed
