Well that was quick! Test result

Dear ******

Birth date – 17 June *******

Your coronavirus test result is negative. You did not have the virus when the test was done.

You may return to work if you’ve not had a fever for 48 hours and feel well. Talk to your employer first.

If you feel well but someone you live with tests positive, self-isolate for 14 days from when their symptoms started. If you get symptoms of coronavirus, self-isolate for 7 days.

The only problem is the wording." You did not have the virus when the test was done". And I still have a fever etc. My daughter still does not have her results. If both tests are negative then I think it is just a chest infection like I first thought.

Good news, although as you say the wording is slightly unsettling but no doubt a clause added understandably. I hope that your instincts about having a chest infection are right, that your daughter gets her result soon and I hope too that you soon feel better.

That’s good to hear and I’m sure the wording is done for a reason. It’s like saying you didn’t have COVID when tested but could get it at a later stage. Hopefully not the case.

I hope you get well soon and your daughter also has a negative result.

Take care xxxx

Bit like the MOT bb,only as good as when you leave the testing station, but a welcome birthday present none the less and hopefully likewise your daughter will recieve the same.

Enjoy your post birthday bash, even if it is only a reduction in fever and a swift return to feeling better. :)

That is good news in the respect of not having covid, but you probably have an infection.

I hope that you have some antibiotics to take and hope you get well soon. xx

Positive result though if you carry on being ill it’s worth another test. Take care. X Anita

Well done, so far, always good to get good news. I suppose they have to cover their backs, but still good news.

Thank you for your concern. GP added another antibiotic yesterday morning. I still feel quite unwell but on a positive note my temperature as gone down this morning. Hopefully by the weekend there will be greater signs of improvement.
