Flying & travel insurance

Hi all, I hope you are well today.

I have recently been diagnosed with a giant bullae & emphysema (late Dec) and have the consulatant again mid Feb so cant ask him this until then...

I presume people can still fly with this condition? I have flights booked to London from Aberdeen early March for my cousin’s wedding (booked pre diagnosis) and we were planning on going out to Qatar to visit family in the Easter holidays. Assuming I am cleared by consultant to fly, In your experience what are the travel insurance implications/costs likely to be? There’s no way I’m going out to the Middle East with the family without any!!

Thanks in advance... Keep Believing...
