They normally arrive within 14 days. Now is the time to start gathering evidence. Such as Doctors letters to your GP. Occupational therapy and physiotherapist reports etc. Keep a diary of of how your condition affects you. This can involve washing, getting up stairs, dressing, problems walking distance etc. Fill the form in as if it is you worst day. Fill in all help you require. Do not rush it. Best advice would be to do a couple of questions a day. If you are have problems with the form see if you can get help from your local disability rights group. Download a copy of the PIP descriptors and points awarded and match them too your condition. Remember there is no such thing as too much information.

Evidence is your best thing to get as Badbessie said. Look at any aids you use in daily life like handles, sticks, Shoe horns Etc. (I was amazed how many I did use when I went though them) If you need to sit down on the bed to get dressed? This is no longer a point giver however if you use a chair or stool then it is? (Stupid I know)

When it comes to mobility They state 20 meteres walking distance! This is so ambigues a lot will fail as they are unaware that if you can walk it but are in severe discomfort then you should get the points!

I hope it all goes well.

Be well

Hi there, anything you can't do put it down. If you use an aid then you can't do it. As for walking pain , tiredness, breathing issues , or use of walking aids means you can't walk the said amount. It is whether you can walk normally as others do, for that distance. You may need to look up the full regulations later if they refuse your claim.
