I have just received a sunflower lanyard from Heathrow airport. This lanyard lets the staff know that you have an invisible disability and you also get through security quicker , I have not tried yet so not sure if it works that way will let you know I go use . To apply sent email to special_assistance@heathrow.com and request a lanyard

Let's hope that this becomes a new trend, in service providers, to recognise all invisible disabilities.

What a great idea! Would have helped me immensely, today, as I have just got off a very crowded Ship n found it so stressful. I do hope it becomes the Norm. 😊✌️🌻

Just applied for this and found out the same lanyard can also be used at Gatwick.

I believe that all major airports recognize the sunflower lanyard

Grumpyoldgit, have you used it yet? I have just urged my mother to get one for my father as he has mobility and vision issues from RA and bowel continence problems from cancer 2 years ago. He’s very proud and would never wear the lanyard himself but my mother should be able to wear it for him and it brings great peace of mind

They fly on Monday so I'll let you know next week. Did you have to provide any 'evidence' by way of dla or hospital letters?
