Long term oxygen therapy

Hi all,

Just a quick question, my dad has got COPD and has been diagnosed for 12 years. He is currently on 8l O2 24/7 and there is talk about moving him to 10l. Touch wood he has not been symptomatic with it since diagnosis. What is the limit of oxygen that a person can have before they say they cant 'up' it anymore.

I don't know of an upper limit but have known members who used 15 litres per minute when mobile.
