Does anyone know if the DVLA revoke your licence to drive when on 02 for 16 hours but are able to do without when driving.

Who gave you the sticker? Also at the moment I'm having treatment for an eye problem which is turning out quite successful so when it's finished I will be able to get it back because the eye test will be a pass for me.. I was hoping they would allow the 02 then I can drive again. Thanks tadaw

DVLA do not revoke licences because of oxygen use.

My late husband drove regularly while he was on oxygen. We told the insurance company and the DVLA and they said it was OK. I do not think you have anything to worry about as it is accepted. We never had a sticker just the Blue Badgel. Skipson

I drove whilst attached to oxygen for many years. I notified the DVLA and was never advised I could not continue.

No they don't. You do need to tell your car insurance provider if you're carrying it in the car - there won't be a problem with that. Sue x

DVLA have a list of notifiable illnesses that we have to report ... when I first came across it a few months ago I was horrified at how many there are!

Thanks y-not for your reply as you say that is some list !!! Just hope the DVLA got all the information they need when I sighed for them to see my medical records. Just a waiting game now until my eyes are sorted but living in hope. It has already cost an extra £500 for me coming off our insurance policy.

Thanks for posting the web address, y_not. I looked up high blood pressure, which I have, and it's not notifiable if you drive a car or motorbike, but is notifiable if you drive a bus - which is understandable.
