Thanks Daz, I didn't know there were any which weren't electric ?

Perfect time of year. I bought one from argos 2 years ago just after xmas in sales. A reebok. Very happy with it. Plus paid for it over a yr 0% finance.

Hello Polly,

I have and use a DKN EcoRun which cost £500 two years ago. This replaced a Reebok which broke down far too soon and was irreparable. The best advise I can give you is to look at a few review sites. This will give you information on what features you need, and what you get for your budget, which is a major consideration. If you go for a cheap one, make sure the motor is large enough and has a good guarantee.

The particular site I used is treadmill-running-machine-r... and I found this to be very good and reliable.

I am very happy with my choice of treadmill too.

Kind regards,

Eric.

PollyP, I have just submitted a post entitled "Treadmill" as I thought that others who have not considered one may benefit from some further information on them.

Good luck with yours.

Eric.

Thanks for responding to my question, and sorry your treadmill doesn't suit you. I did used to use one at the gym so I think I will be ok...and wonder what brand and type is yours?
