Does anyone suffer with Tinituss when they are on prednisolone steroids ?

No, just all the time Ian! It doesn't seem to get worse when I'm on pred.

I do get it occasionally but it does'nt last long but when i am on predisolone get it regularly few times a day and wondered if it was a side effect

Guess it might be - have you read the patient leaflet which comes with the medication?

I have it in my right ear,,consultant said it was common in people with lung conditions,,,

I did read the leaflet didnt see anything about tinnitus. Just read the side effects from the link that itsBAme posted. Said Tinnitus is one of the Dangerous side effects. Oh dear nothing is ever straight forward is it. Need to speak to copd team see what they say.

I too suffer from tinnitus when on pred drives me round the bend youve got to laugh though I know its not funny but we all suffer from extensive ailments all on countless meds we probably all rattle?!!!! take care

Thanks for all the responses. Would appear some do and some dont on predisolone and as someone mentioned, was told by consultant that is something that goes with COPD
