Car parking in Polperro isn't easy at the best of times so this didn't help me much!

Ha ha I went to Polperro years ago with a friend who has difficulty walking. The car park was at the top of a big hill. Walking down would have been ok but not walking up! it was a Sunday though and Polperro was closed! :) x

Hi coughalot, I walked that hill everyday with the oxygen on full throttle (the healthy bit) and always looked forward to the return journey which included a pint of zider in every pub and an ice cream cone (the unhealthy bit). The Sunday we were there Polperro was well and truely open as it was the last day of their music festival and things were a little crazy but great fun.

Lol - my experiences in this beautiful place included lugging p.a. gear around for a gig in one of the pubs!

There was plenty of gear being lugged around as it was the Polperro's music festival, there was music in every pub with the Pyramid stage main attraction on the Big Green? which wasn't very green at all. :)

Glastonbury had better look over its shoulder for its rising rival.

Good bands but they have a way to go to rival Glastonbury in the mud stakes though!!

Lol :-)

I could have walked it but my friend who is very overweight and suffers from arthritis couldn't. There was nothing open and not a soul around. Like I said - closed :d x

Oh' I really struggle with Cornish it seems. :) of coarse I hadn't had my daily dose of Rattler cider which would have put things right as you would probably know.. :) :) :) xxx.

A pint of Spingo at the Blue Anchor Pub in Helston Cornwall would have seen you right - you'd have no worries re the car after that - as you would not be able to drive ha,ha xx

As I said I'm learning, so I'll be better prepared next time. Cider for breakfast, dinner, and tea. :) .

Spingo sounds very interesting! :)
