Medicines and me: COPD meeting Join us for this free half day meeting at the Royal Society of Medicine, London

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you know about a meeting for people with COPD and their families, friends and carers, which the BLF will be speaking at next month.

It will focus on COPD and aims to give a direct voice to people living with COPD. You will be able to air your concerns on the impact of diagnosis, investigation and management of the condition.

70% of the audience will be made up of people directly affected by COPD, but doctors, specialist nurses and others involved in COPD treatment will also join the event.

Wish I could go....but can't.

What a pity these types of events can't be held in other parts of the country.

How about Birmingham..Nottingham..Peterborough....Lincoln......Leicester......Sheffield ....Leeds...but to name a few all with large hospitals and perhaps whose management might consider holding /hosting these events as a benefit for locals.

Apart from which it would allow more of us to get to these events. London for most is a long way away.

Would love to attend but due to go in hospital the week before. As well as the need to stay over night cost. Not sure I could manage London alone either. So have to pass on this one.

You should invite Atos and the sectary of health give them an incite of what we have to put up with. lol
