New Drug

Has anybody seen this on the Boots Med site or heard about any further trials on this new drug ?

I looked at the link, thanks, I hadn't heard anything about it before. The bronchodilator seems to work in a different way to the usual ones...I am pleased because I am one of the unlucky ones whose asthma seems to get worse with certain inhalers, which is a worry.

Thank you very much for the link. That looks very promising doesn't it? Might be years away yet though and there are bound to be side effects like every medicine. But it's looking very good so far.

some news came to me via a professional pharmacist over the Easter weekend about this drug

The potential this drug is showing is so good that it is being held up in trials indefinitely, this decision is based on potential financial losses as billions could be lost if and when this drug is finally put out there for us people who need it.

The big companies now recognise it's potential as a cure, so now they want it tied up, forgotten about and for those who ask about it warnings are given to drop the enquiries before they get in to serious trouble !!!!!

makes even more interesting reading, why is it such a big secret, and why will they not give out ANY information when you phone and ask ??? might need a few of our MP's to get on the case for this drug and ask some questions I think ?
