My sister has severe rheumatoid arthritus and recently developed pcp - would a living lung transplant be an option ?

In order to have a lung transplant the illness has to be pretty severe but not so severe that the patient would have difficulty recovering from such a major operation. I personally have no experience of either of the conditions your sister has, maybe someone else will come along and be able to answer your question better.
