Hi everyone !
I had a My LUX monitor fitted a few months ago which was a good thing as my cardiologist has noticed 1 or 2 results a my medication has changed for the better .I know this is a good move as I have cardio myopathy or CHF ,enlarged heart had a pump in to help which was inserted through my leg to my heart which Is unbelievable .
Anyway as I said I was in two hospitals the first got to the point where they knew I was in bother so I was moved to the transplant ward in the Golden Jubilee which I cannot thank everyone involved enough and I think in Glasgow we have some of the best cardiologists in the world .
when i got this implant it was really painful and I have had a few operations and thing which where obviously sore so I am familiar with this ,but or some reason I was wondering if anyone else that has went through this thought that this was very painful ?to anyone that is getting this ,it is defo worth it and it is closely monitored .
I was just wondering if anyone else that has had this done thought the same?
Thank you Doctor Monteith if you se this ,as I have not seen you since the day you diagnosed this after my own GP did not several times then I got one of the last appointments on a Friday and you where there and was the first time I saw you and the last and I have tried to find you to give you big hug and say thank you a I was told that if I had made another appointment on the Monday that I would not have made it as I had an acute event on the Saturday which if I was in the house I would not be here to type this I think you where a locum GP temp as after another couple of close calls and good few months later when I was discharged I did look for you!you are a star
