Myocarditis update

i am almost 3 months in to my Myocarditis and i am seeing signs of progress . Sleep is getting better but still the odd fluttery night maybe 1 once every week / couple weeks. I tend to have more energy but understand that rest is so important as when i have a active day i get little messages from my body. It pleasing as my heart rate returns to normal quicker after light movements / anything slightly strenuous.

Managing the condition as i have read from the lovely people who have shared their experiences and the progress feels great but can still be scary when having a interrupted night.

Please reach out as im keen to know how anyone else is managing the condition to share tips / best practice.

Hi Highbury87

Sorry to see you have had no responses yet. I have not had myocarditis, though I was suspected to have it 2 years ago at the time of my heart attack. There are many others on here who have had myocarditis so I hope they will see this post. Meanwhile, you may wish to call the BHF helpline where they have experienced cardiac nurses if you have a specific question about your recovery.

All the best.
