I am taking a lot of medications after my cardiac arrest. I do not feel well because of them. Is this normal?

There is a significant variation on the number and specific type of medication that can be prescribed following a heart attack dependant on individual circumstances, and you haven't told us what you are taking. Nonetheless some heart related medication does certainly come with side effects which may affect an individual, so the solution is to discuss with your prescribing health professional who may be able to adjust the dose or offer an alternative to the medication(s) which may be causing the problem.
Since my TAVI last July, I've had fluctuating energy levels, which at first I put down to the medication. But extensive blood tests point to my existing pre-diabetes and a slight deterioration in haemoglobin and haematocrit, making me "mildly anaemic" (I've been borderline for some years.) It's unlikely that I'll ever know what contribution, if any, the TAVI itself and the medication, has made.
(The blood test showed one horrifying high reading, but Googling revealed that this was to be expected after heart surgery.)
try to identify your different problems then do a specific search for that problem on the bhf website. I had particular problems with stiff leg muscles because of the statin i had been given so was able to research that. Hope you get better
