Had my multiple stents done on September last year at the age of 45 and told my EF was 40%, always fit , non drinker and non smoker. Echo after 6 months no improvement , today did my exercise stress test after 14 months things hasn't improved much EF still in moderate failure. I have no symptoms , I can exercise for hrs..no symptoms at exertion. Medicine, diet and exercise strictly followed.. sonograph think it may never improve and told my I have some muscle damaged by HA. I wasn't told I had a HA before, issue was identified during routine test due to a family history. I Was expecting some improvement as I have been doing all as told strictly .But very disappointed with the results. Just quick question if anyone been told it will not improve and improved later. What did you do to improve EF and heart function.any suggestions or feedback that may help.

I don’t know much about heart failure but reading your post it struck me that at least it’s not getting worse? Maybe a positive to draw from all your hard work? Maybe what you’re doing will keep you where you are which is a great outcome especially if it’s not stopping you living your life?

Good luck
