Has anyone suggested surgery of any description or do they hope it can be controlled by exercise and medication?
Surgery has been suggested before.I’m confused as the rapid pain clinic says it’s diagnosis angina but I already have a diagnosis of unstable angina xx
The chest pain clinic should send notes to your GP.
That is an unsatisfactory outcome to date and you need to push to find out the next step. Unstable angina needs to be treated with respect. Has anyone suggested an angiogram or anything to test the current state of your arteries? What sort of surgery was suggested and what happened to the idea?
Please do push hard on this with your GP and the chest pain clinic.
I’m waiting for the chest pain clinic to give me an appointment.my GP said they will do a stress excercise test but with me having unstable angina I don’t like the sound of that! A by pass has been mentioned I had an angiogram but my veins are too small to be stented
has the cause of your unstable angina been investigated? i ask because MicroVascular Disorder and Coronary Vascular Spasm can be underlying causes of this. This has only recently been recognised and testing is not widely available
