Ahh very warm welcome to this fabulous forum, was there a particular question you had? Hope your keeping as well as can be. I have congenital heart disease I was born with coarctation of the aorta which I had repaired and from that I developed bicuspid aortic valve a few months later. My valve is leaking its severe aortic regurgitation and moderate stenosis so will eventually require surgery to replace the valve. I also have ventricular septal defect well it's official name 😅 is perembranous small restive ventricular septal defect ( I know I've spelt the first bit wrong 🤭). What heart condition has lead you here if you don't mind me asking? Don't worry if your not comfortable sharing that's fine 😉. Wish you all the best and take care ☺️.

Good morning.....welcome to the forum. I see from your bio you have heart failure and are waiting for a follow up appointment from your gp regarding medication. How did you get diagnosed? Was this by your GP or by a consultant? If you aren't getting any support or being checked by your GP and it's been 7 months perhaps check with your consultant if you have one or do you have an allocated heart failure nurse you can discuss things with? People on this forum are very supportive and there are many with heart failure who will be willing to chat or share ideas about exercise, anxieties etc so I hope by joining you will find benefit in doing that. All the best x

Welcome to the group. I have dilated cardiomyopathy which led me to heart failure and various arrhythmias. All the best.

Hi Miyenga

Welcome to the forum; there’s a wealth of knowledge, compassion and kinship waiting here for you 😁

I too have heart failure - mine is due to having dilated cardiomyopathy.

I hope you are keeping well day to day.
