Alright so I have one last appointment with the GP before I change and I am going to get referred to a pain clinic because I think I need someone to look at me and give me guidance.
I think I'd prefer the opium clinic even though I don't want to be "off" them, I just need some guidance with how to continue.
But theres also the pain management clinics.- I think they'll be harder to get into because they're assume it's a cardiology issue
I have 10 days off work so I am going to try and get all my appointments at the very least scheduled.
I feel better about my situation and this tramadol hydrochloride is actually helping me so thank goodness.
Anyway, I finally got to clean and I'm going to make my second favourite meal. How were your weekends?

I’m pleased to hear that the tramadol is helping to ease your pain and that you were able to do a few things around the house - the feeling of productivity can work wonders for boosting your mood too 😁
We’ve had a somewhat quiet weekend but my children have a birthday party to go to tomorrow and I’m taking all 3 on my own 😱🤣 - wish me luck!!
I really hope that you make the progress that you’re wanting to whilst you’re off and get the referral to a pain clinic to try and get things under control 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Hi Sleepybear - we'd some nice, sunny weather here in NI over the weekend (for a change! 😜). I spent a lot of Saturday watching the Coronation on TV, followed by a stint in the garden planting up some potted plants I'd bought on Friday. Yesterday, another trip to the shops with my sister - I think my sister's a shopaholic! I'm glad your pain medication's starting to work and good luck getting all your appointments sorted while you're off work. Carol
Hi Sleepybear well here in Australia l went to the pain clinic l have chronic pain from bone spurs impinging on the nerves in my neck as well as systemic arthritis. Having the bypass op and having to lie on my back for six weeks was hell. When l asked the doc for pain relief he said l needed to go to the clinic l had to wait almost 7 months to get an appointment and all they want to do is take me off my meds.
Talk about cognitive dissonance on one hand they save my life on the other they want me to live out that life with chronic pain. So over the lot of them l went to a naturopath, best thing ever, l am now taking supplements for my arthritis and haven’t even had to take a Panadol since.
I sincerely hope that they are not as heartless where you are from. All the very best. Jedx
