I first came here two years ago after a heart attack, particularly helpful due to cxxxd lockdown preventing the usual cardiac rehab and face to face advice. In those two years, like many here I've become an expert in my own condition, and now know enough to discuss and where necessary challenge decisions about my medical care.
I'm very lucky to have had prompt care with six stents in my LAD and LCX arteries and also to have avoided measurable heart damage - so have just completed 30 minutes cardio exercise today at 145bpm without problems. While I have the lifetime drugs I know I am much luckier than many here who have had terrible experiences with their health.
I hope that I've also helped others along the way sharing my personal experiences. However as a not so frequent poster the board seems different these days, it always seemed the primary focus was for people to help and advise new members and those with serious ongoing problems rather than be an alternative to other social media forums. To be clear I've not reported anyone for jokes or any other reason but perhaps the increasingly cluttered forum is why the moderation is getting apparently heavier.
At this point I think I'll be moving on, good luck everyone
