I have just got back from emergency department for investigation and although my troponin test and x ray is negative, I'm not that convinced about the ECGs. I was told the one completed in hospital was "relatively normal" whatever that means (this is an emergency doctor not a specialist cardiologist as far as I know), however I've just found the print out that the paramedic did and left at home and it doesn't read so good. Not sure what all of it means.
Abnormal finding for 40+ female
Anterior infarct (abn Q in V1/V2), age undetermined
Sinus tachycardia with occasional ventricular premature complexes
RSR (QR) in V1/V2 consistent with right ventricular conduction delay
Minimal evidence of LVH (STT abn in I, high QRS voltages)
Short QT interval.
I have covid right now but I wondered if when I recover I should get some further check over?
Can anyone advise on whether this is likely or will I have to go private?
I'm only 43 but there is a family history of heart attacks.
