So It's 10pm

and I am still awake..... and have been all day since 7am. This has been the case for about a month now. However, this hasn't been the case since my triple bypass last February.From then until the end of September I couldn't get through a day without napping, always mid afternoon and usually evenings too. So, was it just taking 8 months to recover from the op? Was it 8 months getting used to beta blockers? Something else? Anyone else with similar?

Everyone is different and it could just be a combination of all you've just suggested.

Luckily for me I was sleeping through and awake all day from around 4 to 6 weeks after my op so not sure.

Hello :-)

It is 12.50 and I am still up my sleep has never been good what I do is not over think it and go to bed when I feel ready

As said it could be a combination of what you mention but give it time and hopefully your sleeping pattern will return to normal :-) x

Dear you

It certainly could be your medication, ask to speak to your Dr for a review , I had a lot of my medication changed from a morning slot to an evening one, helped me with a few of the side effects. { only do this with your Drs say so }

Also I used a short course of prescribed sleeping tablets that really helped me { not others unfortunately } to get back into a good sleep pattern.

Take care
