IBS not sure

for some time I have suffered from abdominal pain and urgency to go to the loo once there I am unable to have a. Proper bowel movement I am waiting to see a consult but that may be sometime away

I presume you have ruled out any medications you take that could be causing this problem

I get IBS and it can affect me in this way to and also anxiety can

I suffered IBS as a teenager many years ago but it sorted itself out when I gained stability in my life so I guess my diet improved and the stresses of youth were no longer there to aggravate it. So for at least 30 years I never had stomach issues again. After HA 2019 and the trolley load of meds to keep me going I’ve had nothing but problems which the doctors try and blame on IBS. I know my body and I absolutely am certain that it’s the meds at fault. I’m trying to live with it . I think it’s just one of those things we have to take the good with the bad.

Incidentally I’ve had a colonoscopy and another type of investigation because of the constantly changing bowel problems but fortunately they found nothing.
