Post myocarditis exercise. Can I go back to before?

(M41) I’ve recently been diagnosed with post covid mycocarditis after having chest pains whilst running at the start of May- for context I’m an ultra/ marathon runner, cyclist etc so I’m really active most days and having to do nothing for months is driving me insane. from what I have read the usual rest period is 3-6 months and I’m almost 2 months since the episode and I’m still very aware of my heart. It appears that most people in this forum have been left with near chronic levels of inactivity. Has anyone fully recovered and got back to a normal active life style? I need some positivity
