I’m thinking it’s a good idea for me to increase my understanding of all this. I do have some knowledge of the heart and it’s workings from past nursing experience so want a book that’s not too simple but not really deep. There’s lots of books out there some at a big price so want to make sure I find one that’s okay for me. Any suggestions please. Thanks.

I bet the BHF Staff would have a good suggestion. Heart Helpline team on 0300 330 3311 Mon-Fri 9-5pm or email hearthelpline@bhf.org.uk
Dear Ewloe
Is your hospital a teaching one? If not they will have a student body and give you contact with anyone with second hand studying books? These are also available {for a fee} on line.
The reference part to your local library would gladly help you.
Depending on how you are with the internet there is a vast amount of good knowledge out there {maybe get someone to help , if needed}
Take care and I applaud your thirst for learning, I have become an armchair expert on my heart and all its fantastic fascinating workings.
