Should I mention odd sensations

Hi it look like I'm heading toward a diagnosis Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.

I have a dilated chamber, thickend septum and a severe obstruction of the left ventricle.

I haven't really established a relationship with my appointed cardiologist yet as he hasn't been responsible for organising tge tests i have had. I will be having a face to face with him hopefully on the 18th of May

Meanwhile I get occasional aches/sensations in my left arm or the left side of my neck. They don't feel particularly significant and I'm wary of seeming alarmist due being made to feel so so many tines on my journey to diagnosis.

Not sure what i should do for the best?

Hello. Whenever my husband is stuck with anything that could be heart related I always urge him to seek proper medical advice. That could be your cardiologist, GP, heart nurse, 111 or the BHF nurse helpline on 0300 330 3311, weekday office hours or Cardiomyopathy UK nurses on0800 018 1024, weekdays 8:30 to 4:30pm. The symptoms could be something or nothing but it would be wise to check in my view.

Best wishes to you and your loved ones.

Thanks Shar28, I do normally contact 111 but things seem to get escalated quiet quickly that way.For example I contacted 111 last week due to palpitations I had last week and the cardio nurse (I assume) that I spoke to

really seemed to think in light of that that I not attend work that day until I speak to the GP as I wasn't on any form of blood thinners. I duly waited and spoke to the GP who perscribed Asprin as they didn't see anything in my consultants letter to indicate that blood thinners are required.

I think the recommendation to call the BHF nurses or Cardiomyopathy nurses is a great shout and will be my go to, so thanks for those numbers and your reply.

Also it felt like the GP I spoke with was put out by having to deal with my issue/none issue. It's so confusing to gauge how serious my condition is as it stands
