Thank you to everyone who took time to reply to my post regarding my partners dizzinesses, I appreciate all your comments and reading about your experiences. Keith is 69 and has always had low blood pressure, he is on Bisoprolol Fumarate 2.5mg, (Doctor appointment tomorrow) . It didn’t occur to me at the time it could be his medication until I’d read the replies posted.
Again thank you all so much and I wish you all well.

Thanks. Glad this wonderful forum could help. Just a brief addition now that I can see he's on bisoprolol. I understand the main reason for the cardiologists liking bisoprolol (other beta blockers are available!) after a bypass opp is to reduce the heart rate and keep the heart rhythm regular. It helps minimise the operation's trauma and helps the heart recover. But betablockers also lower blood pressure a bit, and if your partner tends to have low BP anyway, then the bisoprolol might just be enough to make him dizzy when he stand up. I hope a chat with the GP sorts it out.
