Hello :-)

Personally I would say it is not a sign of advanced heart failure

I have always got confused so I hope it is not :-) x

I had severe heart failure (now improved - thanks NHS) but confusion was not part of it. It could be a sign of an infection, but worth consulting your GP to find out more.

Urine infections can cause confusion in some cases....speak to your cardiac team or gp if you have concerns but if you have a heart problem, that's enough in itself to cause some confusion at times. I know I have been a bit all over the place on odd days since my diagnosis. You might feel a little more assured in yourself if you seek professional advice. All the best
