Evening all, just had my 5th angiogram in 2 1/2 years after heart attack today for reoccurring chest pain, I do have CHD.
My last procedure Last October (my last angiogram) I was told I had furring up of an under expanded stent (in stent restenosis) which they opened with a cutting balloon .
Today I have been told it’s not really the stent that’s the issue but I have myocardial bridging where the as the artery goes inside the heart muscle and not across the top as they normally do and that as being only 51 he expects the problem to return in a year or maybe two.
Anyone been diagnosed with this? There was a mention of it after my HA but nothing till today ?
Unfortunately I’m never fully with it afterwards due to the drugs to quiz the doctor on if this is going to be like this every couple of years ?
I’ve never smoked, drink odd one at weekends, no family history, low cholesterol, not overweight and regularly exercise
Thanks James
