So, I had my Exercise ECG. I lasted less than 1 minute on the treadmill before I started feeling dizzy and out of breath. Due to those symptoms they didn't want to put me back on it. So there is 1 minute of data to use and I am so frustrated. I wish I had tried to stay on a bit longer. I feel like I was a bit overwhelmed by the treadmill which didn't help. I'm in a bit of a state now because I am worried my cardiologist won't want to let me redo it and will just settle with what results are there. They said the ECG was fine but that still doesn't explain the symptoms. I'm just so frustrated and I feel like this is going to make me have even less of a chance of finding out what is wrong with me.
I find anything I do that is new first time I am not good at as it is the unknown not knowing what to expect but then the second time I can do a lot better so don't be frustrated with yourself as a lot have this reaction to something they have never tried before
Why do you not tell your Consultant exactly what you have said in your post that you feel you panicked and this now will maybe not be a true reading and you would like to have another go for your own peace of mind
If they said no then ask them to explain from a minute how do they get a true reading then ?
Or they could say yes and you will get another chance x
