Post OPH symptoms/side effects

I'm now four months post OPH which I had to repair my mitral valve. Ups and downs but feel much better than I did the weeks right after my surgery. I seemed to recover fairly quickly I guess because of my young age. After three months my sternum felt more or less normal and no muscle/chest pains. Infrequent twinges here and there. However these last few weeks I've had what I'm sure (and hope!) is a muscle pain in the left side of my lower rib cage. I only seem to notice it if i stretch/move suddenly or if I speak at length and causing me to exhale alot. I've also developed an annoying cough which I can't seem to shift - it's barely a cough and more of a tickle to be honest. I had my three month follow up xray a few weeks ago and my surgeon said everything looked normal then - no swelling of the heart. The symptoms are a little of a downer because I feel like I've gone backwards and I also worry that there could be something more to them which causes me to worry! Just wondering if anybody who's had OHS has experienced anything similar?
