Hi, iam a hearty who had 2 NSTMI and was stented two years ago. Still on the usual medications including Ticagrelor which is at a reduced dose with cardiologist agreement until May 2022. I have struggled with depression since the event which floored me to say the least, iam off antidepressants now but struggling, but so difficult to actually see my GP face to face. Recently I have been woken in the night by my heart rate pounding in my ears, when I check on my pulse ox, my heart is beating around 126 bmp and o2 saturation at 93% this lasts for varying periods of up to an hour. Does anyone else have this, do you think this is normal ie, dreaming,or the various types of sleep throughout the night? I am loathed to visit GP if I was lucky enough to get an appointment, because I have other health concerns at present unrelated to my heart and as you can only mention one problem at each visit I would need to book daily visits for a least a week!

, Yesterday had my second cataract operation, diagnosed at a routine eye check up on march1st, first eye done 7 June yesterday 17th August second eye, bit sore but my goodness I can see a whole world of bright colours!

If anyone could advise me I would be grateful, this morning my heart is72/78 bmp and o2 says 96%. Thank you.

Hi, my oxygen level is 94 this morning heart 72 so we are both about the same level for good or bad? I have found the way to get around the GP one problem is to write to the head of the surgery and calmly explain all your problems, they then seem to take notice. It also seems to work with hospital clinics, you can also phone the Consultants secretary and make a nuisance of yourself. I have learnt that you have to be proactive to care for your own health.I had my Cataracts done, I agree, the colours you see are fantastic.

Good Luck.
