Takotsubo
Hi Free1239,
I had a Takotsubo seven months ago and still suffer occasionally from a variety of symptoms, including nausea, chest pain, back pain, and fatigue. The advice I have had is that with Takotsubo it is important to rest and give your heart a chance to heal. Any symptoms gradually start to subside, and your body will let you know when it is able to start and gradually increase exercise levels again. Given it's only a week since you had yours, it's very early days. Also, if you have been put on any medication, it takes time to get used to that too.
The British Heart Foundation has good info here: bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo....
Also, there is an extremely helpful and supportive Facebook group called Takotsubo Support Group.
I hope you will begin to feel much better soon!
Thank you, it has made me.feel better, one minute I'm told to treat like a heart attack and the next oh no it's not, so confusing and covid has taken away the rehab clinics so theres alot less support and I thought I'd just feel tired not nauseous still or the headache but it's nice to hear from someone who has experienced, thank you so much x
