MVA - Goodness

90 mins in Cardiac rehab yesterday including warm up and down. 5 machines and no pain or discomfort. In fact praised for my efforts. Came home and lifted a full kettle and had multiple spasms - at least mild ones. What a strange ailment

Typical isnt it. Behaves when being monitored then flips out once home.

What did your cardiologist say about your concerns on bisoprolol?

Indeed I did. When I was in Critical Care at the renown SHC last week, I was advised that Bisoprolol Fumerate was not the most appropriate treatment for CAS for the majority of patients. I was immediately switched to a Calcium Channel Blocker from that Beta Blocker. I am on 1 month trial of Amlidopine with follow up with Head of Cardiac Intervention on 5th March.

Well done on the rehab!

Lucky you for being offered face-to-face cardiac rehab; - I thought most hospitals were unable to provide physical rehab sessions since March last year.

I get a phone call every 3 - 4 weeks, for which I am really grateful.

I am pleased you you get the support of which you speak of. Not sure if you know I am a patient of 77 and our rehab gym is in Singapore where I live. If you live in the the United Kingdom, stay safe from this awful pandemic. My best wishes.

Still don't believe you're 77!

Tks Lulu2607. Haha. I wish I wasn't. I used to be so sporty but this MVA really gets me down as don't know prognosis. I am learning a lot from all of you on here.

Yip me too. I find I get the pains after the excercise stops, not really during.
