I am a life long Type I diabetic who had a quadruple bypass in 2018. In addition I was on the committee of a diabetes support group for over a decade.
Ozempic is Novo Nordisk’s Semaglutide drug. It is injected weekly and is designed to control blood glucose rises after meals. It is administered by weekly injection. Like all drugs it works well for many people whilst others suffer side effects like indigestion and flatulence.
With Type II diabetes achieving a healthy weight and exercise are important to minimise diabetes related complications.
