Is it safe to take these two medications simultaneously?

I think it extremely unlikely especially if both were perscribed by your GP or cardiologist. If not don't take the one that is not perscribed. Diazepam and a number of other drugs are available via the Internet and other sources, and may contain serious contaminants!

Thank you. Both were prescribed, but at different times. I have found in the past that the paperwork does not always join up in the NHS, and mistakes have been made with my medication in the past, so just checking. If there are any pharmacists out there, I have found that they know far more than doctors!JK

I have been prescribed both for years, rivaroxaban I take daily, diazepam 5mg I take one when I feel the need at night. Both were prescribed by the same very careful doctor. I have not had any problems in relation to taking these tablets on the same day.
