Has anyone been diagnosed with this - a condition which mimics angina but caused by something else ? I have posted before about the long running saga of my husband's efforts to get a diagnosis for symptoms which correspond to vasospastic angina & only occur at rest. He has been told twice by the rapid access chest pain clinic that they are not cardiac in origin & has now had a 2nd opinion which has come to the same conclusion. The only test he has had is a treadmill ECG - which showed a minor electrical fault & did not elicit the symptoms of pressure in the chest & pronounced heart beat which have got worse & now occur daily in the early hours. He spoke to a private consultant on the phone who said he was 99% sure it was angina but not seeing anyone due to COVID. He might just have to accept the situation but not sure where to from here.
