Yes, I had two stents inserted after HA (emergency angioplasty) and around 20 hours later had a VT event. I was kept in hospital for a week and then had another two stents inserted. But I’m as right as rain and hope I stay that way.

thank you for replying..I went into AF during the procedure...no NA as it was elective but delayed because of COVID...very lucky to be fixed now but obviously not sure about after effects. Hopefully my recovery will be uneventful. Good to hear you`re ok

I’ve built my fitness probably more slowly than if I’d been able to attend the cardiac rehab. It seems to have worked for me. I allow my Apple Watch to nag me into standing and moving regularly and I’ve taken quite a long time to build up to walking 10,000 steps every day. I’ve achieved that now for 22 consecutive days. Depending on how I feel I do either one long walk or two shorter ones.

Listen to your body but with the volume turned down so you don’t fret over every little twinge.

I`m a very positive person and don`t fret as long as I know what i`m dealing with, I have lots to look forward to and intend to enjoy every moment x

Sorry to hear about what is happening to you, but I just wonder if it would be best to mention it to both your doctor and consultant? Just get it on the record. It didn't happen to me when stents went in a couple of years ago, and I have no idea still about what is an important indicator and what can be safely ignored; but I suspect it depends on how things develop.

Good luck to you

Hi...I have mentioned it my doctor who said because of what happened it`s a side effect and the metal taste is probably because of the drugs they gave me during the procedure. She also said my recovery will probably take at least 12 weeks because of the complications. I feel very happy it`s all over and look forward to the future
