Had AF diagnosed last September & hospitalised for 5 days last year. Meds do not seem to have worked. Docs in France are very difficult to deal with as don’t understand my mental issues. They suggest cardioversion..but I have never had anaesthetic, have phobias and terrified more tha I can say. Question is anyone here had successful cardioversion in 60’s where is has not returned?
