Hot phase!

Hi all, my daughter has arvc and has just come out of hospital after having an icd fitted. She was getting chest pains twice a day in hospital and they said she had inflammation of the heart caused by a ‘hot phase’. She’s home now and still getting the pains really bad accompanied by vomiting! The consultant at St Thomas’ said to ride it out and it should subside. It’s awful seeing my daughter in pain! Does anyone know about hot phases or anything similar for anyone?

Hi JanJan. I've never heard of a "hot phase". I had an ICD fitted because of VT, and had the vomits for a couple of days afterwards. How many days since she came home? If it's been a few days and she's still in pain and vomiting, then call 111.
