I've been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and have been prescribed entresto 24/26mg and have to say my quality of life has gone downhill since I have all the side effects and its making my life miserable my cardio says not to throw in the towel yet it does get better just like to ask has any one else been through the mill with this if so how did they cope any advice or help would be much appreciated thank you

Thanks trst side effects would include dizziness low bp to the point of fainting and palpitations frightening when you're not used to it my cardio wants me to stick with entresto he swears by it so maybe when dosage is increased things will hopefully get better
I’m on entresto, now on full dose but had a tricky time to reach this level - I found it took several weeks at each dose to adjust to it (they told me to double it after 2 weeks but I felt much better going up gradually over about 6 -8 weeks ) but it IS worth it, and once you are used to it it’s fine. My heart has improved so much on this, now 18 months on full dose, I call it my miracle med because other things hadn’t helped. I’d say take it gently but persevere. Good luck!
