Hi

After suffering bad tummy pains and cramps (due to my anxiety) the Dr has prescribed me

Mebeverine 135 mg . 3x day before meals.

Has anyone taken these ? Do they work ?

Hi Longchamp99,

Yes, Mebeverine works for me. I have IBS which flares up after eating certain food (wheat, onions,] or certain tablets. I don’t know your history but Ramipril ( for high blood pressure) and uncoated Aspirin for me are a major no no.

Mebeverine works on your bowel section rather than your tummy. So is unlike Lansoprazole and Ranitidine.

You might find by taking 3 tablets a day will end in you drinking prune juice! Chocolate for me 😊. Stick to the doctors orders though. Hope they help.
