Yes reason ukn defo not exercising. It just developed Aug 19 & disturbed sleep. I tried to ignore it during the week but I happened to have a routine GP appointment & mentioned same. He chased me to A&E. ECG, chest x-ray & bloods normal.

Unknown to me Hospital or GP sent me for a follow at Chest clinic Nov19. ECG confirmed Afib, on Bisoprolol now awaiting Cardioversion.

The follow up diagnosed AFib mild Chad 0 score which Doc said was just a coincidence, here today gone tomorrow. It was definitely inflammation of the cartilage I had at the time in Aug which went away within the two weeks.

I didn't & don't even notice any Afib issue physically, however I did start monitoring HR with a Fitbit but since been told it's inaccurate & not useful for AF so I've given up monitoring or dwelling on it.

I was promised CV within weeks but hasn't happened to-date.

It was suggested the cause was no doubt alcohol & tobacco, but then they would wouldn't they. 🙄

At a seperate clinic for a routine health check in FEB this other Doc reported my heart normal. 🤔

I've replaced alcohol with coffee without issues & cut down on tobacco.
