Hello and welcome to the forum! If you obey the rules you could live a normal span with angina but unfortunately other illnesses are available. The main rules are no smoking (a friend's brother resumed a few weeks after his bypass and did not make a year), keep cholesterol and BP in range, healthy diet, alcohol within guidelines and keep taking your prescribed medication.
