COVID19 - Just need the space to say how I feel

I’m 42yo and was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation / prolapse about 6 years ago.

I’m also classed as having chronic asthma as I have ended up in a high dependency unit after an attack.

I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared in my life to the point I’ve been in my bed crying for the last hour.

I can’t deal with people not taking it seriously and I can’t deal with people telling me I’m going to be alright.

I need people to recognise I’m scared for myself and people who have even more serious conditions than me.

I’m sorry for the mini rant.....

Rant away. You are in good company here. No harm having a good blub but when you calm down make a plan for the day. Maybe a not sitting watching news day. I am attacking the garden chatting to neighbour from a distance. Think about listening to your favourite music, reading, watching favourite box set. Ring a friend or family member we all have our different interests but whatever they are distraction is the key. Times change life will improve eventually just give yourself positive messages at times.
