Atorvastatin and severe indigestion

Started taking atorvastatin after widow maker heart attack 7 weeks ago. I am now experiencing severe heart burn 5-8 times a day with chest pain 8/10 - it is relieved by tums and MD put me on omeprozole. Any one else with this side effect

Hi. Its normal to have heart burn with heart medicines. Your doctor recommended you the right medicine. I myself using rabeprazole after wodow maker heart attack and now its 5 yeats passed
