I would like to know what are the symptoms of Bradycardia....my heart rate is around 60 , l go to the gym 3 times a week and use the treadmill and weights but my HR is never above 110.....I get severe nightime palpitations when I am trying to sleep and have noticed my HR drops to as low as 43 when I finally manage to sleep....I don't have any other symptoms.

Hi Mgs333. If your resting heart rate is 60 and you’re not feeling unwell then I’d say you’re perfectly normal. The doc would only worry if you felt dizzy or unwell. Night time palpitations could well be another issue and I’d talk to a doctor to see if there are any issues there. Hope that helps.

A heart rate of 43 when sleeping sounds pretty Ok, it's normal for it to drop when asleep.

I have bradycardia and frequently feel very faint, have now had a pacemaker to stop that and now on meds my rate is around 60 which is where my docs want it. If you aren't getting typical Brady symptoms then you are probably fine but get checked out just in case.

I get brady during sleep too. Seen it as low as 40 on a 24 HR holter with sinus pauses of 2-2.5 seconds. Like Bantam said its normal, or so my cardiologist tells me anyway
