Overall I’d say I’m doing pretty well after 2 LAD stents in December 2018. Recently stopped my Clopidigrol and Beta Blocker. Had a stress ECG before Xmas and waiting on results.
I’m convinced I’ve had more constant stent discomfort since I stopped the Clopidogrol. It’s every day - a prodding, jabbing sensation. Doesn’t seem to get worse when I exercise ....I do feel it if I cough or roll over in bed.
It feels a lot like my initial stent discomfort. Is that possible? Anyone else still have it after a year?
Thanks.

I stopped Ticagular January 1, had 2 stents July 1st ( No HA) and have also noticed chest aching and burning off and on almost daily since stopping. No pain with coughing. or rolling in bed but if I sleeping on my left side my chest aches the next day. This has been ongoing since the stents were placed, so unrelated to the Ticagular. I feel fine otherwise. I had a repeat stress test for similar discomfort at 1 month post op which was negative. I am still on Bisoprolol.
I reduced my Rantadine when I stopped the Ticagular. I wondered if the cause was acid reflux so have gone back to the original dose to rule this out as a cause. On reading the pharmacology of Ticagular it does seem to reduce inflammatory markers I don’t know if there is any connection with this and the increased twinges.
